The Portage Lightning
U16 Girls Elite team won the Capital Area Classic over the
weekend of September 19-20 in East Lansing. The girls went 4-0 in the U-16 Gold
bracket of the tournament and won their games by scores of 3-0, 5-0, 1-0 and
2-0.
They defeated the Ann Arbor based AAU Premier team in the finals.
